What beautiful meatballs you have here!

What beautiful meatballs you have here!
One more adventure! One more trial overcome! I am so happy when that happens, but really happy.
I think I've said it somewhere before, but I love cooking and experimenting and venturing into the kitchen. This was one of those cases!
I had never made homemade meatballs before, but I researched several recipes and managed, with a tip from here and another from there, to find the recipe that pleased everyone here at home.
It looks difficult to make, but believe me, it's not difficult at all. It's even relaxing to make the #meatballs, it's a time you can take to think about nothing else. That's what happens to me when I'm cooking ;)
Let's get to the #recipe!
Ingredients:
0,5 dl of milk
45g breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
45g grated mozzarella cheese
10g chopped parsley (or coriander) (about 2 tablespoons)
450g of #carnepicada (your choice)
Chopped sausage to taste
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, chopped
Flour q.b (optional)
Preparation:
Place in a bowl the minced meat, the chopped onion (in my case I grind the onion with a hand blender because some people don't like to feel the onion), the chopped parsley or coriander, the chopped garlic, the grated cheese, and the salt. Slowly mix the mixture with your hands.
Add the breadcrumbs, the beaten egg, and the milk. Slowly fold in again. Work with your fingertips.
Take out small portions and start making the meatballs. Roll the meat in the palm of your hands.
If you like, you can also flour the meatballs before cooking.
Serve with pasta and salad!
